An Invitation: Co-Create Our WALK&TALK Community's Legacy & Ease the Load Together

BACK UP A LEVEL

EDIT

Hello fellow artists,
Have you ever felt that our group's potential is vast, but our energy sometimes gets spent re-treading old ground? Do you wish you had a more structured way to connect, collaborate, and make a tangible impact without it leading to burnout?

We’re proposing a new, dynamic way to organize our efforts: The Next-Action Accountability Support Framework.
This isn't about adding more meetings to your calendar. It's about working in small, flexible "action partnerships" to bring our biggest ideas to life, starting with a flagship project: creating a "Daily Reflections" book from our collective wisdom.

Here’s the Vision:
For You: Deepen your own creative process through structured collaboration and peer mentorship. You'll gain practical experience and have a direct hand in shaping our community's resources.

For the Group: Distribute the workload equitably, tap into our diverse skills, and finally turn our recurring ideas into reality. This is about preventing burnout for the "loyal few" and empowering the "quietly passionate."

For the World: We will create a beautiful, collated collection of our work as a peer mentorship guide that can be shared with the wider arts fellowship.

How It Works in Practice:
We Brainstorm Together: At our kick-off meeting, we'll generate a list of exciting "next actions" for the newsletter and book project (e.g., "design the layout," "solicit first submissions," "create a promotion plan").

You Choose Your Adventure: You and an "accountability buddy" will sign up for a specific, manageable task that excites you.

You’re Supported, Not Set Adrift: We will provide you with simple support templates and creative frameworks (like mind-mapping techniques, or "what does doing look like" visualization, brainstorming worksheets) to guide your collaboration and ensure you feel equipped.

We Stay Connected: Pairs will give brief, low-pressure updates at our regular meetings. If a task is completed, you celebrate! If life gets in the way, the task is simply released for another pair to pick up—no guilt, no burnout.

This is an experiment in building a more resilient, creative, and empowered support system for all of us.

If this excites you, please join our initial brainstorming fellowship meeting:
Date: The third wednesday of the month
Time: 9est in subconference #1
Purpose: To shape the project list and take the first step in building our framework together.

Your unique voice and perspective are essential to this. Let's build this legacy together.
